Michael Welch
Previously CISO of a global food manufacturer, Michael Welch is a subject matter expert in enterprise risk management with over 25 years’ experience successfully assessing information security risks and designing information security programs for healthcare, financial, energy and manufacturing institutions and corporations. Both strategic and tactical when identifying and clarifying information security and technology risks and coordinating remediation efforts. Welch is a creative problem solver and strategic decision maker in fast-paced fluid environments.
Welch holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from George Washington University, a Masters of Business Administration (specialty’s in Project Management and Information Security) from Keller Graduate School of Management and a CISO certificate from Carnegie Mellon – Heinz College. He has also held several certifications including Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) and Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE).
